Check out our new Property!
Our house has rented so well the last couple of years that we decided to buy another rental property. We have been looking for an in-town location and wanted an antique home that we could put our stamp on. We are very picky so it took awile but here it is. This classic Vermont Farmhouse is over 100 years old - back when there were farms in the center of Ludlow! We named our new house '2 Doors Down' because it is literally 2 Doors Down from the entrance to Okemo Mountain, the Killarney, shops, restaurants, Sweet Surrender Bakery, etc.
We are currently refreshing and furnishing the house and will post updates here. This house will be available for rentals by Christmas! This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you want to be 1 of the first to rent this beautiful home!

Summer in the Green Mountains!
Written by Susan Thomas
It's sad to say that summer is half over but we have had a great summer rental season. Summer is just so beautiful in Vermont. We are heading up to use the house ourselves for a week to relax and start some upgrades so they can be done by ski season. We plan to go to Buttermilk Falls (Ludlow) and the Marble Quarry (Dorset) to jump off some rocks into what is probably freezing VT water.
We always drive over to Lake George for a day and go to Six Flags. Last year, Okemo added downhill single track mountain biking and the men in my family all loved it. They will definitely be doing that again! This year the boys would like to try tubing down the White River and the Mountain Adventure Park at Bromley since we haven't been there in a few years. A few years ago, we went horseback riding in Castleton.
If you are thinking of renting our house this winter, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. soon. I am happy to say things are booking up fast!
As always - I am hoping summer lasts a long time! Enjoy!

Mother Nature is a little slow getting started this year but, thanks to Okemo's expert snowmaking team, Okemo has the most open terrain in New England! Be sure to check out the Snow Report for up-to-the-minute trail conditions.

Autumn in Vermont
Written by Susan Thomas
It has been a beautiful autumn in Vermont. I hosted my annual Girls Weekend in September. The colors were amazing, the weather was spectacular, the company was great! I highly recommend! We have enjoyed our last days on the deck and now it's time to pack up the deck furniture for winter! Sigh...
But, of course, the good news is that Winter is right around the corner. Okemo began making snow this week!

We were hard at work AGAIN expanding and upgrading the house!
- New Dining Room Table
- Improved Lighting
- Kitchen Upgrades
We spent some time this year upgrading the kitchen and dining room. There is a new, larger table and 2 more chairs. The table now seats 8. If you are having an even larger dinner, we have a card table and chairs that you can add.
We also reorganized and updated the kitchen. Check out our "new" counters!
